Residency |
| The Department of Urology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine offers a six-year program geared toward training urologists in both clinical and academic skills. The first two years are spent with shared time in both the urology and general surgery programs at CASE and have special emphasis on surgical fields and specialties that provide preparatory training for the urology resident. This gives the resident a unique opportunity to engage in hands-on training as he or she rotates through various surgical subspecialties, learning and integrating open and laparoscopic surgical skills for use in their urologic training. Residents will also learn to manage complex critically-ill patients, as well as level I traumas. Each year is unique in its rotations and educational opportunities. |
