The Office of
Student Affairs and the Academic Societies provides service and support to medical students
to enhance their personal and professional development.
Funneled through the
Academic Societies, students receive academic advising and career
counseling and are guided to other resources and enrichment opportunities.
The Office is also responsible for coordinating
student events such as new student orientation, class meetings, Lepow Research Day, and the AOA selection committee, student meetings, Spring Lecture and Spring Banquet. Additionally, the office provides assistance as needed for student groups and student-run events such as the Hippocrates Ball and Doc Opera.
